new semester...one class.

i just got really discouraged with school. can't get into any classes...they're all full and i feel like im going to be in college for the rest of my life and all that time will be wasted on absolutely nothing. i don't know what to say...i feel like a loser.

paolo nutini...he's been getting me through this week. i can't wait for the weekend, i just want to forget about all this bullshit. anyways, paolo nutini's latest cd came out in june of this year, i randomly came across it and i love it...so different!! just what i needed. it's almost like euro folk/soul. i love it!!! it's called Sunny Side Up

school

i will never have it easy with school. i always get f'd over somehow and i feel like im going to be in school for the rest of my life trying to make up for all the times ive been f'd over...leaving me absolutely nowhere in my education. i would love to graduate soon, but it's just not in the cards for me because i'll never be able to get into the classes i need. FML FML FML FML FML FML

so much fun but time to get focused and start fresh!

vegas...camping...it was all so much fun!! i will get to those crazy stories later. 

I have a few weeks of chillin before LA and i really want it to be chill.

I decided to post something today because my mom and i started weight watchers for the second time and im so determined to get this weight off...i'm way overdue but ready!! it's going to be hard work but i'm looking forward to it!! so to all my friends, i'm going to be really cautiously eating for a while till i get the hang of it ;) i'm excited!!

i have a lot of little random jobs coming up which aren't a big deal but i don't want to overbook myself (which i always do) because then those little jobs become really stressful!!

all in all i'm in a good mental state right now, i think it's this new hard drive because i'm having to start fresh with everything!! starting new can be good, we'll see what happens over time!!

r.i.p. michael jackson...still not over that at all yet. you're memorial was very beautiful, sad but perfect.

I can't even begin to explain how sad I've been since the death of Michael Jackson...

so unexpected and it really made me think to cherish life because I am a huge Michael fan, and now i feel like a piece of my childhood is missing so i can only imagine what his family and close friends are feeling...my heart goes out to them. His life inspired me and for those that hold the past 7 years of scandal against him there is a much bigger picture, and I could write a whole book on how I feel about that. If anything I strongly suggest your watch the Jackson 5 movie, it gives your a very hollywood glimpse of his life but at least you can understand. It's also ironic at the time where I would love to listen to Michael Jackson's greatest hits 24-7, i can't find my greatest hits album :(

The saddest part about the death of Michael Jackson besides the loss of his life is that all my nieces and nephews and the children of this generation will not grow up with him as my generation was able to. Although his music may live on forever I wish they would be able to live in an era of Michael Jackson, the king of pop, the legend. 

My prayers are with his family, especially his mother I know she was the first to see him before he passed and they had such a positive relationship. May his soul rest in peace and I know he will always hold a special place in my heart. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

summa summa summa time

this summer has been chill and really crazzzzzy at the time. first of all i'm still getting use to this blog thing so bare with me. although i'm very depressed that i'm not going to greece this summer i am happy i get to spend a lot more time with my friends, i'm loooong overdue with you guys. haha in fact i think they're still getting use to seeing me this much.

so far it's been a lot of random drinking and parties. a typical college students summer. i'm more excited for all the events of july to come up :) don't get me wrong the parties are fun though, they make me feel like i'm in high school again.

my brain can't even think back to the beginning party stages...all i remember is my cousin anastasia's party, kareokee box, la pinata, pre gaming or just straight drinking at ishmaels, vince's, random bars with my cousin anna, chillin with the all my cousins and their beautiful children, thats pretty much been my life may-beginning june. 

then came the day my parents went out of town...i'm not  going to call it a party cuz my intentions weren't for it to be a party it was just like a kick it with drinks and food but as i was at the check out at safeway and my total kept rising, the random invites to my house continued haha i figured the more random the better and i accomplished that goal. pretty much everyone that has been there for me from age 2-21 was there with the exception of jamal, kevin, nestor, monserrat, fergie, noelle, shawna, and sal...and maybe a few more but those one's were greatly missed. everyone else was there though and it was hilarious besides me crying cuz people were bored (i'm done with those nights)...and people getting sick the next day. thank you to my brother who took such good care of me and our house, and anna who also took care of me, and toya and vince for being sober, power to them haha!! and to everyone else thank you so much for coming and livin it up, it was great to see everyone under the same roof and having a good time!!

To end june I will be celebrating roxy's birthday at the bars in palo alto that will be fun and also that same weekend my cousin anna turns 21 and i think were hitting up napa and I'm excited about that too. It's also my mom's 50th (shhhh) birthday and I want to do something really fun with her cuz she deserves it!! My little bro will be in the dominican for a week and I know he will have a blast, i'm just nervous for their safety!! ahh! Also my two friends from new york might be visiting cali for a week at the end of july so thats exciting as well :)

I'm really looking forward to july because that's when some exciting events are happening. The No Doubt concert that i still have to get my ticket to will be really fun. Before that is Coldplay which were still contemplating but would also be amazing!! July 4th weekend I will be camping with my 2nd family in god knows where and I'm really excited cuz I've never really been camping haha! and then end of july LA for anna's birthday which is so exciting cuz our whole group of 7 will be there partying it up on beaches, disneyland, and who knows where else woohoo anna's 21!! and then we got krystle and jamal!! august will be fun too, not set plans but i know it will be fun!!

That's my summer in a nut shell haha! We'll see what happens and what changes ;)
